Tools for These Times

a gentle container that guides you to be curious
I’ve been feeling that the current state of the world requires new ways of being with ourselves and each other to actually survive and possibly even thrive.
These times gestures around inexplicably have been called “unprecedented”. But when I think about what our ancestors have been through over thousands and thousands of years, I think there might be some wisdom we can find in their survival experiences about how to get through these current times.
What if our ancestors unknowingly or very intentionally handed down emotional heirlooms for us to unearth right now. Survival skills passed hand to hand from great-grandmother to grandmother to mother to you. Things that helped them navigate their own unprecedented times.
We may not have the words for their stories, but our own bodies may have the answers about these inherited emotional heirlooms.

I personally found this to be true as I’ve been turning towards exploring my own ancestry as a balm for the felt sense of a “cultural void” in my experience of whiteness. That practice kept me grounded in the most recent years of turbulence. Grounded and Angry, Grounded and Heartbroken, Grounded and Taking Action.
The Safe Home Way Workbook is one tool that I’ve created to hold space to explore these themes for yourself. It’s a gentle container that guides you to be curious about the blessings that were passed down to you, and offers practices that deepen your opportunities to experience that wisdom in your life, your relationships, and your community.
Additionally, I provide guidance through the process in The Safe Home Way Sessions. We’ll meet regularly to play with the tools in the workbook together and tailor the embodied practices to meet you where you’re at.
Finally, you can join The Safe Home Way Support for a regular group to do this work in relationship with others.
If you are searching for tools and practices to do the work of unearthing the emotional heirlooms of your lineage and yearning to move from individual healing to collective healing, you have come to the right place.
Welcome, we are gathering at The Well Head.
